This New Moon arrives at a threshold moment….. just as we approach the final weeks of the year. But this isn’t about tying up loose ends in the usual sense. This is about releasing at the deepest level—letting go of what we’ve been clutching in the darkness, often without even realizing it.
This Alignment Makes Surrender Possible and encourages it!
The NM forms a water grand trine and creates a “divine safety net.” Neptune and Saturn together in Pisces are saying: You can let go. There’s something greater holding you. Neptune dissolves our grip on control, while Saturn ensures we won’t be lost in the dissolution—there’s structure in the surrender, wisdom in the release. Jupiter retrograde in Cancer adds emotional permission. It’s as if the cosmos is saying, “It’s safe to feel all of this. Your vulnerability is your strength now.” Jupiter in Cancer nurtures us through the process, reminding us that letting go isn’t loss—it’s making space for greater abundance.
Mercury Retrograde: Reviewing Before Releasing!
Since Mercury is RX conjunct this New NM at 28 *, its time to identify what needs releasing. This isn’t impulsive; it’s deliberate!! What patterns, stories, relationships, or identities have we outgrown? What’s been revealed since Mercury stationed retrograde on November 9th? The retrograde is the review of the inventory process—the New Moon is the release opportunity!!
Uranus Opposition: Liberation Through Disruption
And, here’s the catalyst: Uranus won’t let us hold on even if we try. At 29° Taurus, it’s breaking apart our attachment to security, to the familiar, to “the way things have always been.” This opposition creates a productive crisis—the kind that forces our hand toward freedom. We might not choose to let go voluntarily, but Uranus ensures we will anyway. Better to work with this energy than resist it.

Frame this as cosmic preparation.
As 2025 closes, we’re being given the opportunity—and the support—to:
- Release old identities that no longer serve our evolution
- Surrender control over outcomes we’ve been trying to manipulate
- Clear emotional and psychic debris accumulated over years, perhaps lifetimes
- Break free from material attachments or security needs that have kept us small
- Let go of the known to make space for the miraculous unknown
The Power of December 2025:
After this New Moon, we have December to integrate the release. Mercury stations direct on November 29th (while still in Scorpio), helping us move forward with clarity about what we’ve learned and released. By the time we enter 2026, we’re not just turning a calendar page—we’re stepping into a completely cleared field of possibility.
The Invitation:
This isn’t passive surrender—it’s active trust. It’s saying YES to transformation even when we can’t see what’s next. It’s trading the exhaustion of control for the liberation of faith. The grand trine promises: when you release with consciousness and courage, you’re held by something far greater than your individual will.
