Wow.What and unbelievable start to 2025. Words can’t begin to describe my heavy heart and the devastation and loss in my beautiful city. It’s tragic. I have lived in West LA for 35 years. And like many of you, this is my home. I have so many friends who are like family, colleagues, and clients who have lost everything. Just no words.One just needs to look at the news to see the complete destruction in Pacific Palisades and Altadena.
And, please know, the people of LA, and all over the state have come together in tremendous ways to give,volunteer and lend a helping hand where ever needed, and that is heart healing. It is going to take LA some time to recover and it is so not over yet. I write this on Sunday evening when the energy feels calm here in Marina del Rey, but, tomorrow is a new day with unpredictable winds. We need lots of prayers, hope and a bit of little luck to keep it contained!
This Full Moon in Cancer on January 13 is at 2:27 PM, and interestingly enough, it highlights family, ancestors, and deeply buried hurts that we have not released!! Full moons always illuminate that which is hidden. It sheds light on situations and allows us to SEE in a new way! This is quite an emotional Full Moon, so tears will flow and anger may flair, pause and be kind to yourself and others.
However,this FM can facilitates deep, powerful transformation. Actually, generational patterns can be identified and allowed to heal when embraced with an open nurturing heart! Please note….this Cancer Full Moon allows us to feel and grieve our many losses, and gently release them. I use the word GENTLY, as that is the energy that will heal our hearts and souls. Practice Grace and Kindness to yourself and those around you. Words of understanding, compassion and kindness go along way. The best way to rebuild is one person at a time. As we each do our own healing and work, we lift all others up!

Full Moons are not time sensitive like New Moons, so no worry to be out at the exact time, which is 2:27 PM PT on 1/13/25. Any time in the evening will be fine!
Plan to go out under the moonlight so you can soak in this amazing energy. If not, due to weather, find a cozy private place in your home!
Find your spot,clear the energy, have your journal, and your crystals!
Take in a few deep breaths, become fully present, connecting to your Higher self and guides. Say a prayer that includes asking for protection, guidance, and offering gratitude!
